History of the company | 1907 6th of July The factory came into existence. 1914 The development of the factory was restrained. Olkusz under Austrian occupation. 1915 The increase in orders for the army. The production boom. 1922 The Polish authorities took control over the Olkusz factory. The statute and the name of the firm were changed into “Olkusz” Fabryka Naczyń Emaliowanych S.A. in Olkusz. 1926 Modernization of the factory, the products were exported to Latvia, Turkey, Estonia, Syria, Greece, Mexico, Canada, Argentina, Venezuela, Guatemala, Egypt, Abyssinia and the northern African countries. 1948 26th of June the factory “Olkusz” Fabryka Naczyń Emaliowanych, public company, was transformed into a state company, Olkuska Fabryka Naczyń Emaliowanych in Olkusz. 1948 October - “Polmet” sp. z o.o., metallurgical company - the producer of aluminiumware was taken over by OFNE. 1958 August - the fire which resulted in the destruction of 1/4 of the production surface. 1965 The intensive expansion and the modernization of the company started. The following department were respectively put into operation: the varnished products department, the aluminium and teflon products department, the department of embossed baths and enamel sink units, tools department. Moreover, the modern sewage treatment plant and administration office were built. 1992 1st of April - a state company - Olkuska Fabryka Naczyń Emaliowanych in Olkusz was transformed into a one-man company of State Treasury named: Olkuska Fabryka Naczyñ Emaliowanych “Emalia” Public company in Olkusz. 1993 18th of April Olkuska Fabryka Naczyń Emaliowanych “Emalia” S.A. was joined in Privatization Programme through The National Investment Funds. 1995 12th of September Due to the allocation process the company shares were brought to The National Investment Funds. The leading block included the Kazimierz Wielki S.A.VII NFI. 2005 Modern, private company offering a wide range of products, specializing in the production of: baths, footbaths and enamel sink units. The permanent increase in the demand for our products on the domestic, the eastern, and the European markets can be seen. | |
